I Love My Electric Blanket

Last night as I snuggled under the covers, I couldn't help but wax poetic about how awesome my electric blanket is.  Seriously, if you don't own one of these, you need to get one.  Unless you're lucky and live in a paradise like Hawaii and don't even need to have a heater, much less an electric blanket.  God bless the person who invented this thing.

A haiku for my electric blanket:

Electric blanket
I love you so very much
So warm and toasty

So when do you think they'll come out with an electric-blanket version of the Snuggie?  Although I guess it would have to be battery-powered if you want to wear it to your kid's next sporting event.

  1. I associate
    electric blankets with the
    feeling of illness

    I use one only
when I'm very sick. It helps
    burn off the fever.

  2. We buy them regularly because they don't seem to last long. But you really don't want to go through a Michigan winter without one.

  3. I don't need an electric blanket because when I got sick yesterday my friend http://evilsfury.blogspot.com praid for me and I got healed. But I could feel the spiritual battle rage in my body as he praid for me,as one moment I'd be sick as dog, the next healthy as a horse then I laid hands on people and praid for them last night.Right now I'm super healthy. This man must truly love me,whether he'll ever admit it or not.

  4. I used to love my electric blanket as a kid. I don't know why I don't have one now. My parents use one that you can control on either side of the bed. My dad runs hot, so his isn't on most of the time, but my mother likes it oven-hot!
